Ladies take note: according to this article, which reamed through census data, Bethesda, MD is the top city to find attractive single men. Looking at factors such as income, health, weight, and education, the authors cite Bethesda as pretty much having it all.
Many of these factors become apparent after the article sheds light on it. “The city is the second smartest, according to Forbes, and a higher than average number make more than $100,000 a year. Bethesda also has one of the lowest percentages of drinkers and smokers in the country, and is in the top percentile of healthy, active and fit people.” By that reasoning, one could assume the attractiveness index applies to the women of Bethesda as well.
Boulder, CO in number 2 makes sense as it’s consistently ranked a “fit” city overall and Cambridge, MA at number 3 also fits into the educated category. Despite all its actor-waiters and model-hopefuls, LA rounds out the list of cities with attractive men at number 10. (Note the absence of Arlington, VA from the list)
